  • Details:  Such a pretty set of cup and saucer in Brazilian Porcelain from Schmidt.  Large white blossoms nestled within blue and green leaves and vines.  Both pieces are marked: "Schmidt, Leart Made in Brazil".  We have seen this same pattern from the same manufacturer but signed by "Ingrid S Lara" but were unable to find out why the different backstamps / marks.  These little cups are meant to serve Espresso, Turkish, Cuban or Greek coffee and they make great display pieces too!

  • Dimensions:  Saucer: 4.0 inches in Diameter. Cup: 2.25 inches Tall, 2.0 inches in Diameter (top opening).
  • Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Excellent Condition. No issues noted. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

Porcelana Schmidt was founded in 1945 the Schmidt family in Pomeroy, Santa Catarina.  They grew through several mergers and acquisitions including: Royal Porcelain, (acquired in 1948), Brazilian Ceramics in Campo Largo and Steatita Porcelain, (acquired in 1956).  They started importing to the USA in 1958.  In 1972 they merged all the companies together to form Porcelana Schmidt S/A.  Today they are the largest manufacturer in South America with 50% of the fine china tableware market in Brazil and exporting to the United States, Argentina, Italy and England.
