The design of the Yamitsu Mega Black Box Filter, complete with 11 watt UV makes it a perfect filter for goldfish ponds up to 666 gallons (3,000 litres). The unit can be part buried if required as long as the outlet is above the pond water level. The filter can take a range of flexi hoses with the supplied inlet hosetail. Water enters the Mega Filter via a spray bar which distributes the water over the 1st stage of foam filtration (mechanical filtration). Water passes through a total of 3 layers of foam media before continuing through the flocor media (biological filtration) and back into the pond via a single outlet that also has a built in overflow.

- 2" solvent weld pipe outlet
- 4 stage filtration; 3 grades of foam sheet to remove the solid waste and flocor plastic media for the biological filtration. Alfagrog can also be added to this filter to further enhance its performance.
